Section 4: Event Information
Rafters must be at least 14 years of age and under18 stone. You must agree to our T & Cs and Centre Rules.
Your safety is important to us so please download and read our Safety for water users leaflet.
Any rafters aged between 14 - 18 must have our Parental Consent Form signed by their legal parent/guardian before being able to raft at the centre.
Please read what will be involved in our Activity Assessment which must be successfully completed before being able to raft the course.
Please arrive 30 minutes before your start time and allow three to four hours for the whole rafting experience.
White water rafting is an extreme sport, while navigating the course you could welltake a tumble intograde 4 rapids, so be prepared. Our bank safety team will be on hand to rescue you and safely help you out of the water before helping you back aboardyour raft.
Equipment is provided - just bring your swimmers and a towel.
During your rafting experience you will need to remove jewelry and any items of value. To avoid risk of loss or damage please leave valuables at home.

IMPORTANT: These events are active and players should be aware of the physical activities involved. CSSC reserves the right to cancel the event if under subscribed.
All CSSC members taking part in the event are covered by CSSC Sports and Leisure Public Liability Insurance. Please note that this policy is NOT a Personal Accident Policy. Members are encouraged to take out their own insurance policy.
This event is open to your friends or family members. As a reminder, under our Linked membership scheme, up to three of your friends or family members can join CSSC and take part in our events at members’ rate. Membership is also available to staff working in the Public Sector such as NHS, local government, teachers, the police, fire fighters and HM Armed forces personnel.
Once entry forms and payment are received and processed an acknowledgement email will be sent out with further information a week before the event.
