E. SKILL AREAS
As part of the application process we would like to get to know you better. Below are five areas we see as vital to a successful career as a barrister within Crown Office Chambers. 1. Intellect
The intellectual ability for which we are looking includes the ability to assimilate information quickly, and the ability to think logically, flexibly and analytically when faced with complex problems and situations, whilst at the same time maintaining an ordered attention to detail. You must be able to express yourself clearly, concisely and forcefully on paper.
We will assess this from the information which you have provided above and also from the quality of your responses to the questions below.
2. Working methods and approach
Here we are looking for applicants who have initiative, who are practical and possess common sense, who have a constructive approach to problems, and who possess self reliance, integrity and can work well under pressure.
