Guidelines for Submitting a Publishing Proposal

Crown House Publishing is always looking for new and innovative proposals for new publications. We would be happy to examine your proposal if it addresses one of the following subjects areas: Counseling and Psychotherapy; Accelerated Learning/ Brain-Based Education; Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP); Hypnosis; Trainer’s Resources; Self- Help and Personal Growth; or Stress Management. You might like to check out the titles on our website ( the USor in England and Europe) to get a feel for the kind of books we publish.
If your manuscript does fit into our areas of specialty, please send us the following (preferablyby email to )—do not send your completed manuscript:

  1. Synopsis of your proposed publication
  2. Introduction to the book
  3. Table of contents
  4. Two-three sample chapters
  5. A CV or brief biography telling us all about yourself and how to contact you

Successful Proposals
If your proposal is accepted for publication, you will be offered a publishing contract. Once this is signed, a publication date will be set and an Author Questionnaire Form will be sent to you for completion.If you have any queries about any of the above stages (e.g. determining the suitability of your proposal for CHP) please feel free e-mail us at noted above and we will happily offer you advice.
