Ms W was struggling with the financial, physical and emotional pressure of caring for her autistic son and elderly parents and with Carers Gloucestershire help benefits were applied for and the household income was increased, referrals for respite activity and breaks were made and Ms W was able to access our counselling service, local support groups and carer breaks, leaving her feeling less isolated and more supported and informed.

Mrs. B has very limited mobility with arthritis and ulcers on the balls of her feet. Over time I've managed to get a seat putin localbus shelter, handrail for her back door, a blue badge,Attendance Allowance (which allows her to pay for help in house and garden), a trolley with wheels for balance and carrying, a lightweight wheelchair and finally astair lift (no downstairs lavatory and was going up stairs on hands and knees).
