Once a rider is nominated, fees must be paid. Fees will only be refunded on presentation of a medical/veterinary certificate or advice from the club chief instructor.

Class A / 10 Years & Under / 50cm
Class B / 11 Years & Under 13 / 60cm
Class C / 13 Years & Under 15 / 70cm
Class D / 15 Years & Under 17 / 80cm
Class E / 17 Years & Under 21 / 90cm
Class F / 21 Years & Under 26 / 90cm
Class G / Seniors / Seniors to choose their own class and height, if none nominated you will be placed In class D – 80cm.
AWARDS FOR CLASSES
Ribbons to 5th place in each round – points to 10th
Medallions to 3rd place overall in each class
Saddlecloths to winner of each class (at least 3 competitors)

NOTE:Riders may enter one competitive horse and another horse which must be ridden HC. HC horses must be ridden second.

RULES:

1.The organising committee reserves the right to; cancel any class or event, divide any classor event, combine classes if less than 3 competitors, alter advertised times, transfer competitors between sections of a class, refuse any entry with or without stating a reason and also the right to alter the program if necessary.

2.Disputes to be lodged in writing to the Secretary within 30 minutes of results being posted accompanied by $50 fee which is refundable only if the protest is upheld.

3.Helmets of ASA 3838 (or Better) must be worn

4.All competitors to be in full uniform for the presentation

NOTE:

Performance cards are required for grades A,B,C,D and registration cards for grades E, Pony & Galloway and riders must be 13 years of age or over. Cards to be presented to the organising secretary before the commencement of event. Nominations that donot have Horse Registration Numbers AND riders who do not haveperformance/registration card on the day, riders will compete HC. (June 11)

Riders may have two horses: A rider may have one competitive horse in the Official section and onecompetitive horse in the Unofficial (or Height) Section. A rider competing on onehorse in the graded/official classes may not ride another graded horse inunofficial classes below 80cm.Or a rider may have two horses in the same section, one competitive and one riddenHC, if both horses are competing in the same class (Aug11) the HC horse to be riddensecond. (Note to clarify: HC horse can be ridden in any class, before or after the official class, but ifboth horses are competing in the same class, the HC horse to be ridden second.) The HC horse must be named as such on the nomination form.

Competitiors 12 years & under may ride graded or ungraded horses, but should enter only on a horse that they normally ride at Pony Club.10 years and under may choose to ride in either 10 & Under OR 12 & Under class on any competition day.

Pony & Galloways may compete either P & G or in a graded class but must not compete in both at the same fixture.

Seniors choose the height/grade (official/unofficial) they wish to compete in. Seniors to choose from Official Classes: A/B, C, D or E to be eligible for overallSenior award. If they do not choose a height/grade when nominating, they will beplaced in an 80cm class.

Combined Group Criteria: Three (3) competitive riders make a group, andtherefore are not combined.If one or two riders have been nominated for a class, or if after close ofnominations, the number decreases, the Organizers have the right to combinethe group with the height above or below i.e. (a) A/B with C; (b) C with D; (c)10 & under with 12 & under; or (d) if insufficient A/B (only 1 rider) and C (only1 rider) would then combine with D.Jumping the Course: Example: Where A/B riders combine with C grade riders: TheC grade riders jump their first round at 1m; then course is adjusted to 1.10m andA/B riders jump their first round. Then C grade riders do their second round or jumpoffat this height... The height then increased to 1.20m for A/B riders’second roundor jump-off.
