Crime Watch Report continued from September 2, 2010 through September 9, 2010

CASE #10-3528 BREAKING AND ENTERINGOn Thursday, September 2, 2010, Deputies Pritt and Geisel responded to a breaking and entering complaint on Glade Farms Road, near Hazelton. Two air conditioners and money were reported stolen.

CASE #10-3560 ENTERING WITHOUT BREAKING On Saturday, September 4, 2010, Deputy Sinclair was notified of a theft from a residential garage located between Newburg and Independence. A 14 inch DeWalt brand chop saw was stolen.

CASE #10-3562 STOLEN VEHICLEOn Saturday, September 4, 2010, Cpl Bryan received a complaint from a resident of Kingwood who stated that a vehicle had been stolen from Aimee Avenue in Kingwood. This is a continuing investigation.

CASE #10-3574BURGLARY On Saturday, September 4, 2010, Cpl Bryan responded to Pleasantdale Road, near Kingwood, in regards to a burglary complaint. The victim’s basement had been vandalized and a flat screen TV had been stolen. This is a continuing investigation.

CASE #10-3569 LARCENYOn Sunday, September 5, 2010, Deputy Rodeheaver responded to the Red Horse Tavern in Aurora in regards to a larceny complaint. Vehicle mirrors had been stolen from two separate vehicles while they were parked in the parking lot of the business.

CASE #10-3577 BURGLARYOn Sunday, September 5, 2010, Cpl Bryan and Deputy Baggett responded to a residence on S Preston Highway, near Kingwood, in regards to a burglary complaint. Several items were reported stolen. This is a continuing investigation.

CASE #10-3573 DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTYOn Monday, September 6, 2010, Deputies Pritt and Geisel responded to a residence on Aurora Pike near Terra Alta, in regards to a destruction of property complaint. The complainant stated that his fence had been damaged and there were tire ruts in his yard. Any witnesses are asked to contact the sheriff’s department.

CASE #10-3583 STOLEN VEHICLEOn Monday, September 6, 2010, Cpl Tichnell responded to a single vehicle crash near Hopemont, in Terra Alta. The vehicle was reported stolen and later found to have been wrecked. This is a continuing investigation.

CASE #10-3606 BREAKING AND ENTERINGOn Tuesday, September 7, 2010, Lt. Stiles received a call from a victim who stated that his storage unit near Kingwood had been broken into. Several items were reported stolen. This is a continuing investigation.

CASE #10-3614 BURGLARYOn Tuesday, September 7, 2010, Deputies Rodeheaver and Tichnell responded to a burglary complaint on W Main Street, in Rowlesburg. The victim stated that money and medication was stolen. This is a continuing investigation.
