The applicant:

  • is an Australian citizen or resident
  • lives in Queensland and can provide proof of residency if shortlisted for interview
  • is 18 years or older
  • does not have any outstanding debts (e.g. debts under grants, loan agreements, or gross proceeds not paid as required) to Queensland Government or Screen Queensland
  • does not have any outstanding contractual obligations to Queensland Government or Screen Queensland on another project (e.g. overdue delivery items, audits, cost reports, recoupment reports)
  • agrees to always act 'in good faith' in all their dealings with Queensland Government, YouTube and QUT Creative Enterprise Australia who are the appointed program managers to manage funding and reporting for this project
  • has the capacity and resources to carry out the project that is the subject of the application
  • will provide more details if shortlisted and upon request such as a proposed budget, timeline and potential collaboration with QUT and Griffith
  • has the right to carry out the project that is the subject of the application (including any relevant copyright and clearances)
  • has meaningful creative control of the project that is the subject of the application
  • is not a broadcaster, holding company or subsidiary of a broadcaster
  • agrees to provide personal information and provides consent for this information to be provided to third parties associated with the program for administration purposes only.
