Suggested Schedule and Activities

Aims:1. To help teachers and students understand what bullying is.

2.To promote the harmonious school and anti-bullying message.

Before Morning Assembly / Displayposters in the campus. / Can be assisted by senior students
During Morning Assembly / Teachers introduce the objectives and activities of the Anti-bullying Day, followed by the opening ceremony and a short talk. / Refer to morning assembly materials
Morning Periods(1) / 1. Displayposters in classrooms
2. Class teachers can use the class periods /personal growth education periods / life education periods (approximately 2 to 3 35-minute lessons) to go over “Understanding bullying”(1),(2)and “Reporting Bullying – Zero Tolerance” to help studentsunderstand what bullying is and the school’s zero tolerancepolicyon this subject matter.
-- Teachers distribute Anti-bullying Day stickers/blueribbons/badges and let students put on in order to show recognition and support of the event. Students sign and post the Anti-bullying Charters in classrooms.
3. Subject-based activities in alignment
--Chinese, English:Design and create slogans
--Art & Design:Design posters
--Music: Teach theme-related songs
( Display / post all finished products in class and on campus immediately) / Refer to “List of Lesson Plans” and the relevant lesson plans
