WORD OF MOUTH / RECOMMENDATIONS

MISERABLE & MAGICAL:

A GRADUATION SPEECH FOR PARADOXICAL TIMES

I don't usually do this but I was just given this gift from a friend and was so moved by it, I wanted to share it with you. Some may have seen it... if so, a re-read of something good is always a delight I find. If not, I recommend it highly.
Take some time to take it in. I'm sure glad I did.

**************************** QUOTE BREAK *************************

On some positions, cowardice asks the question, is it expedient?

And then expedience comes along and asks the question, is it

politic? Vanity asks the question, is it popular? Conscience asks

the question, is it right? There comes a time when one must take

the position that is neither safe nor politic nor popular, but he

must do it because conscience tells him it is right.

SECRETS OF A VETERAN EDITOR / WRITER

The ability to write correctly (let alone well) is a rarity. Do you need to write for work (or to get work)? Need a coach for your novel? Hope to become an editor? I'll share what you must know—so much more than the rules of grammar! I'll reveal the mistakes all writers make. For 35 years I've produced award-winning writing and editing, prompting one loyal client to call me his "secret weapon in attaining communications supremacy." I've repaired and revitalized 500+ fiction and nonfiction manuscripts for authors, publishers, and corporations worldwide. Flexible times, fees.

Today well lived makes every yesterday a dream of
