Activities for FCCLA Week

*Create locker posters for every FCCLA member!

*Hand out red roses to your senior FCCLA members with a thank you note for their leadership and dedication to your chapter.

*Plan to wear your FCCLA gear on a certain day during the week.

*Make FCCLA buttons with your picture on it for your parents to wear!

*Create a bulletin board with each member’s photo and statistics (grade, favoritecolor, siblings, etc.). Be sure to ask each member what their favorite FCCLAactivity is!

*Send candy-grams and soda’s with the message, “We’re SODA-lighted to have you in FCCLA!” to all of your FCCLA members.

*Have your mayor sign a proclamation for FCCLA Week. Be sure to take photos of your chapter with the mayor!

*Send in your chapter photo to your local newspapers with an article of your FCCLAactivities that you’ve done so far.

*Create daily school announcements. Include a fact about FCCLA and one fact about your chapter each day.

*Schedule an appointment with your local and state elected officials. Share with them your FCCLA experiences and how it has benefited you and your school.

*Be a guest on your local radio station’s morning show. Talk about your latest community service project and FCCLA!

*Sponsor a trivia contest at your local radio station. Have them ask FCCLA questions. The first caller right receives a prize!

*Celebrate FCCLA Week with your chapter. Hold a special meeting and ask your FCCLAalumni to join you and share their experiences with you.

*Honor your school’s faculty and staff by sponsoring Waffle Wednesday! Prepare waffles before school and thank them for their support!

*Decorate the FACS department with FCCLA logos and colors!

*Sponsor a school wide community service project.

*Have a theme for each day. Monday is Red and White Day, Tuesday is Trivia Tuesday, and Wednesday is Waffle Wednesday, etc.!

*Co-sponsor a school dance with the other CTSO’s in your school.

*Create a time capsule for your FCCLA chapter. Bury it at the end of the school year so you can include all of your FCCLA memories from the year!
