The following should be noted for Outdoor Gatherings/Contests for 2014.

Appearance money will be paid for the Munster Championships in Tralee.

All bands, registered with the IPBA, and who perform on the day will be paid an appearance fee of €150.

Bands will be designated a ‘Playing Time’ and the Pipe Major should ensure that the band is in the Final Tuning Area eight minutes prior to this time.

Any band failing to perform on time will suffer a loss to their attendance fee.

Tunes for the massed band will be ‘Let Erin Remember’, ‘the Minstrel Boy’ and the ‘Dawning of the Day’.

If your band is not coming bring your pipes or drums and play in the ‘Massed Bands Parade’ .

(We would ask Band Secretaries to please bring this to the attention of your members)

Entertainment / 5 Minutes Performance

Juvenile, U 14 Years Of Age - Junior, U 18 Years Of Age - Open, Open To All
Finale
Parade / All bands parade individually to finale
Salute to Chieftain / Let Erin Remember / designated band lead all other drummers on double forte.
Lament / Designated piper
Prizegiving / An t Úachtaráin,
Cumann Buidhean Piobaire na h Éireann
In honour of those assembled / The Minstrel Boy/ designated band lead all other drummers on double forte.
National Anthem / Designated band
