Diplomatic bag review:- Nothing to be considered.
Welcome letters sent to 1 Holly Lane and The Cranes Rest and will send to The Three Cranes, No 63 Loddington Rd, and the Old School. Four vacancies for Clerks in Northants.

Items for discussion:- Rural Forum 21st July, Wilbarston Village Hall LE16 8QD. As agreed previously Cllrs Barnwell and D&R Whalley will attend. No agenda received as yet
NCALC Freedom of info. workshop 20th Sept. 10-2.30pm:- Council said good if any can attend. Letters from Mr Wheller and Mr & Mrs Geidt, discussed and further advice will be sought.
KBC Grants celebration event:- The Clerk accompanied Cllr. R Whalley to this event. Cllr. Whalley reported that details of projects realised from these grants were on five large screens around the Council Chamber. Details of the Millenneum Sculpture in Cransley was featured but of course the Info. board is not yet finished. The variety of projects was very varied. The Mayor was present and spoke to everyone. £90,000 had been distributed. Organiser encouraged groups to think forward about other projects for which they could apply. Members from Mawsley, Thorpe Malsor and other groups were spoken to. The visit was worth going to - mainly to see what projects other groups had applied for.
Civic Service invitation: No-one was able to attend on 10th July.
Cleaning of bus shelter etc.:- Two volunteers have come forward in response to the article in the Cransley Chronicle, Mr Dawson and Mrs Geidt.

16.48.8. PLANNING
Application No KET/2016/0246 by Mrs Smart for change of use for No 63 Loddington Rd
Gt. Cransley, granted.
Application No KET/2016/ 0053 by Mr J Simson for extensions at 9 Bridle Way, granted. Result in April- not sent to GCPC at the time, KBC apologised.
Application No KET/2016/0384 by Mr Cross for single storey extension at 48 Loddington Rd. GCPC to reply No Objection.
Site Specific local plan:- Andrew Needham, KBC Assistant Development Officer, requesting details of ownership RA/146 an area of land between No 48 Loddington Rd and 32 Loddington Rd. if known. Cllrs agreed reply ownership is Knights Farm, ℅ Mr D Knight.
16.49.9. POLICE MATTERS/NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH
Email from Scott Little asking about proposed firework displays – Clerk replied no knowledge of any in the Parish.
Email from NW rep. Chris Payne requesting an article in Cransley Chronicle GCPC agreed.
An email update from PCSO Jason Parish to NW gave short details of recent crime in Slade area.
Pytchley, Broughton and Loddington mentioned but not Gt. Cransley
16.50.10. HIGHWAYS – Cllr. Appleby
Cllr. Appleby reported an increase in lorries from the loam company driving fast through the village, but more recently going more slowly. Debris was left on the road. He will continue to monitor the situation.
Cllr. Appleby reported that on some roads leading to Pytchley and Walgrave there were notices saying ‘no entry’ for vehicles of a certain tonnage. Not saying ‘except for access’.
The pavement along Church Lane opposite Cransley Hall is restricted in width as bushes need to be cut back. The Clerk will write to Mr Qureshi asking him to trim them.
16.51.11. VHMC MEETING- Cllr. Barnwell
Minutes will be circulated. A new floor cleaner has been purchased for the hall.
16.52.12. NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN
There was a workshop on this subject on 29th June but Mrs Lacy only received the information two days previously. She asked the organiser (ACRE) if minutes or relevant information from this workshop could be sent to her. Nothing has been received so far.

16.53.13. PARISH PLAN
Millennium Sculpture information board:- Cllr Barnwell will find out progress on this.
War Memorial:- All funding has been secured for the refurbishment and Cllr. D Whalley will ask for possible date from the stone mason as to when the work might start.
16.54.14. WEBSITE
Cllr D Whalley will ask M Rogers to forward to him a copy of the Cransley Chronicle for inclusion in the website when it is sent to the printer.
16.55.15. CO-OPT PARISH COUNCILLOR
There is a possibility that a resident is interested in becoming a Cllr.
