HolidaysSchool/Nursery breaks up on Friday 9th October for the October week
and
Re-opens on Tuesday 20th October at the usual times.
Monday 19th October In-service day for staff / Halloween
On Friday 30st October we will be having Halloween parties.
We look forward to seeing all the children in their costumes! (NO scary masks please).
We have booked Zoo Lab from the Toy Fund with Halloween Animals.
Maths & Library Bags
Maths/library bags will be on a Thursdayevery week, children will be issued with a bag and it will be returned after one week at the beginning of session and will be exchanged for another.
Staffing
Ms Boyce our Depute Head finished up to have her baby. Ms Reilly will be filling in for her maternity leave. / Gardening
As you may have noticed we have a few volunteers working with the children in the garden. Filling our new planting beds that the children requested we buy from the Toy Fund.
Shared Reading

Snack & Toy Fund
Please try and remember to pay £2.50 for Snack & Toy Fund and the start of the week, you can also pay monthly if you find this more convenient.
As you are aware 50p of this covers the weekly snack and £2.00 goes to the Toy Fund for the children’s’ shows, Christmas Gifts, parties, baking and a lot more.
Nursery Clothing
Our nursery clothing has started to dwindle; we are running out of boys tops.
If you have any nursery clothing, please could you return it ASAP?
Curriculum
The theme of our first plan is:
- Nursery Rules,
- Friends,
- What we do in nursery.
- Staff,
- Routine
- Gardening.
On Friday2nd October @ 9.15am and 1.15pm we will be taking all the children on a walk to the local community garden were a community project will be held.
We are looking for 10 parent helpers for the nursery AM and two for the afternoon.
