Objectives:1.To gain ability to detect the presence of parasites in any clinical specimen - blood, feces, etc.

2.To learn to identify parasites by analysis of morphological

characteristics.

3.To understand the epidemiologic significance of pathogenic parasites.

Grading:Final Examination (2 hours)250 points

Percentage:For a 250 point course:

100 to 90% = A225 or greater = A

90 to 88% = B+225 to 220 = B+

88 to 82% = B220 to 205 = B

82 to 80% = B-205 to 200 = B-

80 to 70% = C200 to 175 = C
