Objectives:1.To gain ability to detect the presence of parasites in any clinical specimen - blood, feces, etc.
2.To learn to identify parasites by analysis of morphological
characteristics.
3.To understand the epidemiologic significance of pathogenic parasites.
Grading:Final Examination (2 hours)250 points

100 to 90% = A225 or greater = A
90 to 88% = B+225 to 220 = B+

Attendance is required – if a student must miss class they must obtain permission/provide notification prior to that class. Unexcused absence will result in loss of 3% of a students total points.
