Methods of Instruction:

  • Most lessons are from the textbook. You will need to download student data files to follow the instruction in the textbook.
  • In the Discussion Board, we learn and discuss various topics of computing.
  • Although you may study at your convenient time of the day, you must set aside specific time to study on a daily basis. It is easy to get behind unless you follow through your schedule. A basic rule of thumb is that you need two to three hours a day for a total of twelve hours per week. Of course, it is a rough figure. In general, one college-credit-hour requires three hours per day of study time.
  • Difficulty of keeping up with the coursework is something that I take seriously. Should you get in that situation, please do not hesitate to let me know.

Course Policies:

  • Your fellow students and I expect courtesy, respect and mature attitude.
  • No late assignments will be accepted unless the student had an unavoidable situation such as illness.
  • Quizzes will cover the all materials including the textbook, discussion, and other materials posted in the Web site.
  • Students are encouraged to communicate each other with respectable manner.
  • Individual works, including assignments, project and evaluations will be done independently of each other. In other word, students must complete and turn in their own work or they will be dismissed from the course with a failing grade, and possibly face disciplinary action from the college
