Situation
Real World Scenario / The U.S. is trying to find out a way to better its relationship with the world. It is finding it hard to do business with the world and wants to better understand what they can do to better their status.
Task
Student Role / Your role is to examine the reasons why the U.S. became a world power and how to use that information to better its position as a world power. You will use current debates to be able to communicate to the world that your intentions are good.
Audience / The world will be your audience. They will see how this doctrine will impact not only the U.S., but also how the world will react and respond to what they will think is another wave of American Imperialism.
Product / Your product can be an essay, poster, movie, play, PowerPoint, poster, etc. that will get your message across in a way that is easy to understand and follow.

General Requirements / Your Authentic Assessment is due on 12/12/14. It is to be turned in on Diplomaplus.net by Friday at 8 am. The reflection must also be turned in at that time. If you are using google docs PowerPoint, please use the last slide for your reflection. If you are turning in a poster, the image of the poster must be uploaded, but a hard copy of the poster is due at the beginning of class. If you have any questions please see me for tutoring.
