FAW Football Leaders Award

A 15 hour course providing a basic introduction to the organisation of football practices in a fun, safe environment with an emphasis on skill development. This is a mandatory award for all coaches involved in junior football in Wales. Course resource provided.

FAW Time to Listen Workshop

A level two, three hour course for those who have taken on the role of Club Safeguarding Officer (CSO). (Please note all CSO's must have completed the FAW Welfare and Protection Workshop (or equivalent first).

FAW Welfare & Child Protection
Course Description & How to Apply
A three hour workshop to support candidates in developing good practice when working with children and vulnerable adults. The workshop will focus on identifying poor practice and recognising signs, symptoms and forms of abuse and how to react to concerns or disclosures. It will also provide advice on how to identify people and organisations that can help and provide support in such situations.
