The part-time Courier/Assistant is an essentialteam member of our client services department. Selected candidate will work approximately 20 hours/week: Thursdays from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm and other workweek days for the remaining hours. This year-round position is based at our Holt office. Primary responsibilitiesinclude driving a company vehicle to our clients’ sites to pick up samples or drop off supplies, perform percent moisture tasks then enter results in our LIMS database with accuracy,and prepare Methanol kits. Prior experience is not required, but dependability and a positive attitude are!
Requirements from YOU:
- Must be reliable and trustworthy
- Must possess good communication skills and demonstrate professionalism when dealing with our clients
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a clear driving record
- Must be able to lift and carry samples which can weigh up to 50 pounds
- Must be willing to drive throughout Michigan (and occasionally Ohio and Indiana) to pick up samples and/or drop off supplies
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
- Must have authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
