Rules of Entry
1.Classes 1-3, 5 & 6 are open to teamsof 3 or4 members (best 3 scores count).
Team members will also be judged as
individuals. The whole team will ride
one after the other. No competitor
may ride more than one horse or
pony in each team. No horse/pony
may jump in more than three classes.
2. Individual entrants will be put into teams wherever possible.
3. Due to Health and Safety
regulations, all competitors will be
judged under Pony Club rules and it
is the competitors’ responsibility to
familiarize themselves with these
rules. All competitors will have a tack
check before competing.
4. Neither the CVFH PC nor any
person acting on their behalf can
accept any responsibility for any loss,
damage or accident or injury to
horse, pony, rider or anyone
attending this event. The organisers
have taken all reasonable precautions to
ensure the health and safety of
everyone present. For those
measures to be effective, everyone
must take all reasonable precautions
to avoid and prevent accidents
occurring and must obey the
instructions of the organisers and
officials.
5. First Aid Cover will be provided. / 6. The organisers reserve the right to
refuse entry, cancel a class withhold
a prize, or disqualify a competitor for
any reason they see fit.
7.Objections must be lodged with
the Secretary with a deposit of
£25.00 within 10 minutes of the close
of the class. The deposit may be
forfeited.
8. Horses and ponies must be 5yrs
of age or over
9.All competitors must wear hats to the following standard:PAS 015:1998 or 2011 with BSI KitemarkVG1, Snell E2001 with the official Snell label and number, ASTM-F1163 2004a with the SEI mark. AS/NZS 3838 2006. Parents should note that hat standard EN 1384 became obsolete from December 2015.
Hat Rule Amendment for 2018: To unify hat standards The Pony Club, BE, & BRC will introduce a new “aquamarine” tag. White tags will no longer be accepted at PC events, competitions & rallies and members should seek to re-tag from now. Please refer to your own DC or Centre Proprietor for full details.
10. In the event of cancellation, a
£3.00 admin fee will be charged per
person.
11. The Judges’/Organisers’ decision
is final and must be respected.

Class 1 -50cm/55cm Mini Novice
Open to teams and individuals, jumps not to exceed 50cm in the first round.
This class is strictly for NOVICE and INEXPERIENCED COMBINATIONS
ONLY – please respect this. Entry Fee: £10 per rider
Class 2 -60/65cm Novice
Open to teams and individuals, jumps not to exceed 60cm in the first round.

Class 3 -70/75cm Open
Open to teams and individuals, jumps not to exceed 70cm in the first round.
Entry Fee: £10 per rider
Class 4 – 80cm approx Accumulator with OPTIONAL Joker Fence
Open to all, individuals only. One round jumped against the clock over a set course. Each fence has a points value and the optional last fence has a double points value if cleared. Highest number of points wins, if equal points are scored the fastest time wins.
