Information for Practices
CORRECTION: Children’s Influenza Vaccination FAQs:
A correction to the FAQ document for the children’s influenza vaccination programme in the 4 October GP Bulletin. The description of how the flu immunisation given to children in Reception and years 1, 2, 3 and 4 is recorded in the uptake figures was incorrect.
The amended document advises that school health nursing teams will inform the GPs electronically by sending a spreadsheet to the practice via nhs.net. It is then the responsibility of the practice to enter this data on to the patient records. The school health nursing teams are now starting to e-mail this information.

  • There is no reporting required from practices
  • Payment will be based on telephone interpreting use and the numbers of children coded with Child Protection Plans; the CCG will collect this data
  • Payment will be made at year-end as part of the reconciliation process
