Spanning more than 40 years, Lindsay’s ministry has extended far and wide. For 23 years he and his wife, Lynette, served as corps officers in Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta and Newfoundland and Labrador. Lindsay and Lynette have also enjoyed various global appointments taking them to Kingston, Jamaica; the Bermuda Division; the Western Cape Division, South Africa; Mpumalanga/Swaziland Division, South Africa; the Caribbean Territory; and Tanzania Territory.

Lindsay holds a BA Honours Degree in Religious Studies from Memorial University of Newfoundland, where he was awarded the university medal for academic excellence in religious studies, and a Master of Divinity in Educational Ministries from Tyndale University College and Seminary in Toronto. He is also a graduate of the Executive Leadership Program from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver.

Lynette and Lindsay have two children: Cheryl (Terry) and Shannon (Jessie). They also have three grandchildren: Abigail (16), Cameron (13) and Mackenzie (5).

In his relaxing moments Lindsay loves reading and jogging. He is also an avid Habs fan.

Lindsay is a life-long student of the Word and is totally committed to Jesus Christ and to the mission of The Salvation Army. His greatest joy is serving Jesus and the people for whom He died!
