2014 Capitol Market Green Chili Shoot-Out
Corporate Challenge – Saturday, March 15, 2014
The Corporate Challenge is special category created for local businesses to take advantage of an opportunity to support Capitol Market, The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research and our dear friend George Manahan!
TO DO list!
· Complete the short registration form and submit it before March 3, 2014
· Bring your already prepared 2 gallons (minimum) of sample GREEN CHILI w/ beans!
o Most competitors use a Coleman-like stove to keep the chili hot.
o Bring your own ladle
· We will provide six foot table, sample cups, plastic gloves and spoons.
· Decorate your designated area themed-out in your corporate logo and St. Patrick’s Day garb!
· The Corporate Challenge winner will be determined by People’s Choice! To sample the chili, guests will purchase sample tickets and with the tickets they will be given “GREEEN COINS”. They must present a ticket to sample and then at their option present you with a GREEN COIN(s) indicating a vote for People’s Choice!
· Between 3:30 and 4 pm, event volunteers will collect the GREEN COINS from each corporate challenger and tally them up. The winner will be announced at 4:30pm and awarded $200, certificate plus bragging rights for one year!
