Course Description: / This course presents an overview of scientific principles, methodologies, and research as applied to exercise and physical fitness. The emphasis is on physiological responses and adaptations to exercise. Case studies and coordinated laboratory experiments are an integral part of this course.

Evaluation Criteria/Policies:

Students must demonstrate proficiency on all CCPOs at a minimal 75 percent level to successfully complete the course. The grade will be determined using the DTCC grading system:
