President tasks
Administration
Take care of the day to day business together with the Bureau members (only per email)
Copy all Bureau members with important mails
Regular contact with Secretary General
Share information with Vice-Presidents – give advice if needed
Propose Statutes and Bye-laws changes
Follow as close as possible the Four Year Plan
Communicate with Administrative office
Oversee the affiliation process for new member Federations
Finances
Regular contact with Treasurer
Negotiate Official boats contracts
Try to find additional income
Assist the Treasurer that invoices are paid
Discuss with the Treasurer the annual accounts
Prepare with the Treasurer the budget
World Championships
Keep together with the Secretary General the LAO’s up to date
Find organising Federations
Discuss, negotiate exceptions and sign the LAO
Organise site inspection (if needed)
Order the medals
Order the award(s) for the organising Federation and the organiser
Overview bulletins and payment of the Sanction fee
Appointment of key officials proposed by the Confederations
If possible be present at Opening and/or Closing Ceremony or delegate someone
Ensure that the obligations listed in the LAO are respected
Arrange good hospitality for EB, Council members and Officials
IWWF meetings (together with the Secretary General)
Prepare and call the Bureau and the EB meetings
Prepare and call the World Congress
Draft the agendas
Organise/inspect meetings rooms and Congress facility
Divisional Councils and Committees
Overlook the work of the Divisional Council, but not interfering in any decisions
Guide and advice the Committee chairs if needed
Confederations
Regular contact with the President and Secretary General
Assist and advice if needed
Attend if possible Confederation Congress and Confederation Championships
Federations
Try to meet the President and key officials when visiting a country
Relation with IOC
Close contact with IOC Sports Director/IOC Sports Bureau
Good relations with the IOC President
Good relations with all Executive Board members
Be known by as many IOC members as possible
Relation with Organisations where the IWWF is a member
SportAccord – Association of International Sports Federations
Attend AGM
Contact with President and Board members
Contact with Director and other key persons
Take profit of services
ARISF – Association of IOC Recognised International Sports Federations
Attend AGM
Contact with President and Board members
IWGA – International World Games Association
