Coopersale & Theydon Garnon C E Primary School
Sport Premium Grant Expenditure:Report to parents
The government is providing additional funding to improve provision of physical education (PE) and sport in primary schools, to promote a healthy, active lifestyle and to promote competitive school sport. This funding - provided jointly by the Departments for Education, Health and Culture, Media and Sport - will be allocated to primary school head teachers.
Purpose of funding
This funding is ring-fenced and therefore can only be spent on improving the provision of PE and sport in schools and on improving general health and fitness, but schools will have the freedom to choose how they do this. Although we are free to spend the fund as we see fit, we are held accountable for how we have spent it and the impact this has had on our children.
