COOPERATIVE SOLAR RIDER - CSR
AVAILABILITY
Available throughout the area served by the Cooperative, in accordance with the Cooperative’s established policies and regulations.
APPLICABILITY
Applicable, as a rider, to all members served under Rate Schedule Residential Service who voluntarily choose to subscribe to the Cooperative Solar Program. Members shall be limited to one Block from the Cooperative Solar program. A Block is approximately 1.305 KW AC and is equivalent to roughly 5.37 solar panels. No partial month proration of charges and energy credits shall be allowed.
CHARACTER OF SERVICE
Single or three phase, 60 hertz, at the Cooperative's standard available voltage. Resale of service or standby service is not permitted hereunder.
MONTHLY RATE
Solar Block Charge = $27.50 per Block per month for 12 month commitment
$26.00 per Block per month for 60 month commitment
DETERMINATION OF BLOCK OF ENERGY
A Block of Energy in each calendar month shall be the actual kWh produced by the Cooperative Solar plant(s) during that month divided by the total number of available Blocks in the Cooperative Solar Program. The kWh produced by each Block purchased will offset the same number of kilowatt-hours on the member’s bill. The equivalent KWh credited through the community solar rate will be subject to all local and state sales taxes and the distribution cost adjustment. If the Blocks produce more kilowatt-hours than a member uses during their billing period, the member shall receive a credit in accordance with the Cooperative’s Residential Service Tariff.
TERM
Applicable members may choose to participate on a one or five year basis. Should the member choose to discontinue participation in the program prior to fulfillment of the agreed on term, the member agrees to pay a one-time $100 cancellation fee, or the remaining months of the contract, whichever is less, which will be added to their next monthly bill. Exceptions for billing of this cancellation fee will be limited to the member passing away or the member terminating service. After discontinuing service through the Rider, members will be ineligible to participate in the program for a period of one year.
