  1. All registration fees must be paid in EUR via Money Transfer or PayPal.
  2. Cost for registration per person is

250,00 € until 15th of October, 2014

275,00 € until 15th of December, 2014

300,00 € after 15th of December, 2014

Please notice: Registration will only be completed after money transfer is finished and confirmed by written statement from Going-Bye-Bye Tent.

  1. In case less than 60 people have registered until 15th of December, 2014, the convention will have to be cancelled. All registration fees paid until then will be paid back in full.
  2. Cancellation will be possible only until 15th of December for a cancellation fee of 25,00 €/person. After that date a refund (= registration fee minus cancellation fee of 25,00 €) can only be paid if there is a replacement participant.
  3. I understand that if I do not attend an event (see page 2) the cost of which is included in my registration fee I will not be entitled to any refund for that event.
  4. I understand that the registration fee does not cover accommodation.

CONVENTION PROGRAM (as of August, 2014; subject to alterations)

From 02.00 pm on:

Arrival of the Sons, check-in at the accommodation facilities, as well as at the convention counter. Opportunity to meet fellow Sons at the "Café Voss", close to the BABYLON MITTE movie theater.

From 06.00 pm on:

The German Laurel & Hardy Museum of Solingen is showing parts of it's exhibition at the show room of the BABYLON MITTE movie theater.

08.00-10.30 pm:

Opening gala of the Laurel & Hardy Filmfestival at the BABYLON MITTE movie theater (details tba).

10.30 pm-02.00 am:

Get-together for all Sons (and Sons only!) with screening of silent L&H shorts, accompanied by live piano soundtrack, late night snacks and drinks in the cosy atmosphere of the "Grüner Salon" (just across the street from the BABYLON MITTE movie theater).

Sat., 20.06.

10.00-11.00 am:

Get-together once again at the "Grüner Salon", this time with dealer's tables.

11.00 am:

Lucky Dog Theatre Productions (London) presents their production "Hats off to Laurel & Hardy" (in english language).

01.00-04.00 pm:

Boat trip on the river Spree. While having a snack, tea/coffee and cake on a boat exclusively rented for the Sons we will get to see a lot of Berlin's sights from the water. The trip will take us through the heart of the city.

06.00-12.00 pm:

At "Old Texas Town" the Sons will celebrate a night out in western-style: We're going to have not only a nice barbecue and a western show but also a (hopefully spectacular) screening of WAY OUT WEST inside "Mary's Saloon"! The town will be all ours!

Sun., 21.06.

10.00-12.00 am:

City tour in a chartered bus, motto: “Berlin in the roaring twenties”.

01.00 pm:

Lunch "Bavarian-style" at "Denker's Beergarden" (Hofbräuhaus Berlin).

Afternoon:

"Good-bye!", Grand Sheiks meeting.

Ticket for the opening gala of the film festival

Admission to the Get-together afterwards at the "Grüner Salon" (including film screening with live music score, late night snack and some drinks)

Admission to the "Lucky Dog Productions" of "Hats off to Laurel & Hardy" on Saturday

Boat trip on the river Spree (including bus transfer to and from the boat, snack, tea/coffee and a piece or two of cake)

Barbecue, western show program and screening of WAY OUT WEST at "Old Texas Town" (including bus transfers to and from "Old Texas Town")

City sightseeing tour by bus on Sunday
