  1. The education consultant will provide in-person supplemental instructional services (tutoring) in English Language Arts and Mathematics to academically needy Providence-resident private school children in grades 9-12 who are eligible to receive Title I services as a result of the District and private school consultation process to meet requirements of Title I “No Child Left-Behind Act.” of 2002.
  1. The consultant will provide tutoring services during the school day (“Pull-Out” during non-essential instructional time) and/or before/after school, depending on assignment. The instructional services should support the curriculum of the private school where the services are performed.

In no more than three paragraphs, describe the accountability measures that will ensure that the vendor meets all requirements set forth in the contract and that the district is able to maintain a record of the quality of the services.

Every contract should include explicit language requiring vendor accountability, i.e. required program evaluation or the submission of a final report summarizing progress against each itemized deliverable.

Beginning on February 13th, the consultant will provide the following services: Tutoring,; administer pre-, interim-, and post-student assessments, recording the data and reporting it to the Grants Office; monitor each student’s progress and regularly communicate with the student’s family and teacher about the student’s progress; assist in the distribution and collection of Parent and Teacher surveys prepared by the Grants Office; and coordinate assigned tutoring materials inventory located at Saint Patrick Academy.

Schedule:Services will be rendered from 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Mondays & Tuesdays; 8:00 A.M. -12:00 P.M. on Thursdays & Fridays; and 10:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. on Weds.
