ALPHA ACCESS:

If your agency has been approved via a Single Case Agreement (SCA) to provide services to a member from the Eastpointe catchment area, it is imperative that a security officer is established. The security officer is responsible for submitting all requests to allow or revoke staff access to Alpha.

You may establish a security officer by going to Provider – Contracting ad Payment for Services – Provider Security Representative Form. Once completed, you must press Send at the bottom of the page to submit the form. If you, the designated security officer would like access to Alpha, please indicate that in the Notes/Comments on the Eastpointe Provider Security Representative Documentation form.

*Access to Alpha will not be granted until the Single Case Agreement has been approved*

Security officer may request to allow agency staff access to Alpha by completing the Provider Request and Revoke Access to Alpha located on our website at Provider – Contracting and Payment for Services – Provider Request and Revoke Access to Alpha. Instructions for submitting the request can be found at the top of the form. (Please do not send the request to Network Operations).

If at any time the designated security officer at your agency changes, a Provider Security Representative Form must be submitted to update the information on file. The Provider Request and Revoke Access to Alpha form must also be submitted if someone that was granted access to Alpha leaves the agency.

IPRS ENROLLMENT

If your agency has been approved to provide a state funded service it is imperative that the member has State listed as an insurance. Please do an enrollment to add State and note in the comment section of the enrollment that you are requesting to add State to the member’s insurance. The effective date should be the same as the approved authorization start date. It is not necessary to include an end date. The member must be enrolled before our Utilization Management Department can enter the approved authorization in Alpha and before claims can be approved. Enrollment forms are in Alpha under the Patient tab. This should be done immediately once access to Alpha has been granted.
