Beijing, March 2017. International technology company and industry partner ContiTech is to attend the upcoming 17th China International Petroleum & Petrochemical Technology and Equipment Exhibition (CIPPE 2017) at the New China International Exhibition Center (NCIEC) in Beijing. As an annual trade fair for the petroleum and petrochemical industry, CIPPE has been certified by UFI (The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry) as the world’s largest event in the sector. Large bore, high-temperature resistant and high-pressure drilling hoses

With strong R&D capability, substantial investment and continuous improvement, ContiTech will present its latest API 7K bonded high-pressure drilling hoses at the trade show. The product features an inner diameter of 6 inches, outstanding resistance to hydrogen sulfide, operating temperatures of -30°C to +121°C(-22°F to 250°F), and operating pressure up to 7,500 psi. The hose is capable of handling20% H2S for 1 hour at 121°C at rated working pressure, designed for high working temperature and sour service mud delivery.
Tauroflon lined hoses
ContiTech now offersAPI 16C hoses with the patented Tauroflonliners, allowing for exceptional chemical compatibility in high pressure, high temperature environments. ContiTech’s Tauroflon lined hoses are suitable for conditions up to 15,000 psi and 130°C.The hoses are fitted with an internal stainless steel carcass, designed to withstand continuous periods of operation where there is a high risk of rapid decompression. The liner is resistant to a wide range of chemicals at high temperatures.
