Continental tire takes first place in Czech tire test

  • ContiPremiumContact 5P best of ten SUV summer tires in “Autoclub” test
  • Automobile club’s experts praise best performance in wet and dry braking, handling and rolling resistance

Hanover, May XX, 2017. In the recently published test conducted by Czech automobile club “Autoclub”, first place in an SUV tire test went to the ContiPremiumContact 5P summer tire ( The experts tested 215/65 R 16 tires fitted to a VW Tiguan, looking at a total of 12 criteria. The test line-up included ten models from European, American and Asian tire brands. The ContiPremiumContact 5 successfully outperformed the competition on all test criteria, displaying no weaknesses in any of them.

The ContiPremiumContact 5 P is a summer tire available in various sizes for cars and SUVs. It is used both as original equipment and in the replacement market. In the meantime its successor, the PremiumContact 6, has become available in many sizes.
