Write a 700-875word paperon a case study:(1 pt.) that includes:

Jim Collins, Good to Great: Why Some Companies Make the Leap and Others Don’t (New York: Harper Business, 2001).

Use these headings:

  1. Introduction – Determine a thesis, and summarize the principal outcome of your analysis in one sentence. State the subject and purpose clearly and concisely in a thesis statement – one sentence of 25 words or less. This is the thesis for your report and should be clearly stated in the first few paragraphs. The introduction identifies the central problem. Include a description of the case study and its source information in the introduction (1 pt.)
  2. Background- Introduce the what, why, and how of your analysis by identifying the subject, the purpose, and the plan of development you would use in this situation. Give the reader background on the situation you are addressing, and acquaint the reader with the events leading up to the problem you are attempting to resolve. Include any other basic background information that the reader might need, such as defining terms, providing history, or other information needed to understand the problem, such as formulas (1 pt.)
  3. Key problems- Identify your thoughts about the problems exist in this case study. Start with essential who-when-where-why-how questions, and thenconsider further problems specific to this company, since there may be more than one problem. Identify the ones you think are detrimental to the success of the company or its project (1 pt.)
  4. Alternatives – Make conclusions about the potential key problems you identified. Considerwhat can be done to solve these problems, and offer more than one solution, as there may be multiple ways to solve the problem (1 pt.)
  5. Proposed solutions- Offer recommendations based on the conclusions you made. Out of the possible solutions mentioned, which do you think is the best solution, and why? This section might include plans for further research, if necessary (1 pt.)
  6. Conclusion – Offer a conclusion that wraps up your analysis (1 pt.) If there are other materials to add, such as calculations, graphs, charts, or figures that would distract from the body of the report, you can include an Appendices section after the recommendations. If you do this, name each appendix and refer to it in the report where it would be appropriate. If extra materials are not distracting to the report, you can place them in the body of the report.
