Words to Know: Saving Money When You Shop

afford / I cannot afford to buy this car.
cheap / I need a car that is cheap.
check / Check the price at two different stores before you buy.
check out / I am finished shopping. I am ready to check out and pay.
code / Enter the code on the website to get the sale price.
compare / A way to save money is to compare prices.
coupon / I have a coupon for 50 cents off a loaf of bread.
cut out / You can cut coupons out of the newspaper.
deal / The sale price is a good deal.
debt / Buying this might add to my debt.
enter (information) / To check out, enter your name and address.
expiration date / Some coupons have an expiration date.
get money off / I use coupons to get money off the prices of things I buy.
item / Sometimes you can wait for an item to go on sale.
last / These shoes are well made. They will last a long time.
matters / The quality of the product matters.
on sale / These shoes are on sale this week.
price / The sale price is a good deal.
product / This store has many products on sale this week.
promotional code / Use the promotional code online to get the sale price.
purchase / This coupon gives $5 off a $20 purchase.
quality / The quality of a product is important.
sale / This store is having a sale next week.
shipping / The item costs $35 and the shipping is $5 extra.
value / A product that lasts longer is a better value
