CALL FOR PROPOSALEXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)
CONSULTANCY SERVICE FOR PRODUCING ANNUAL REPORT OF INSPIRE PAKISTAN
BACKGROUND:
Inspire Pakistan is a non-profit, non-governmental, non-political, and non-religious development organization registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) under the Ccompanies Oordinance.
In brief period of time the organization has successfully created partnerships and collaborated with agencies including UNHCR, Australian High Commission and, National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) etc; by which.,It has designed and implemented projects in areas of education, human rights, health, community development, women empowerment protection and youth developmentempowerment. The projects include awareness raising campaign on early and forced marriages and breast cancer, research and advocacy initiative to curb early and forced marriages in emergency situations, capacity building initiative for creating human rights ambassadors, capacity building initiative to improve quality of education in refugee camps, and scholarship programme to support territory tertiary education of Afghan refugees and a teachers training project. The organization in collaboration with different universities organizes awareness- raising sessions on different topics, which builds capacitiesy of students and creates awareness on social issues.
PURPOSE OF CONSULTANCYASSIGNMENT:
To develop an annual report will that clearly demonstrates the progress of the organization in context of activities, and objectives of the organization and projects along with best practices, achievements against set indicators and lesson learnt in above- mentioned projects.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESTERMS OF REFERENCE:
The consultant is expected to review all project documents including organizational profile, project proposals, project descriptions, progress reports, and event reports etc. He/she will be collecting data from potential respondents including project staff and project beneficiaries in order to produce a comprehensive annual report, which should be clearly be documenting Inspire Pakistan’s contribution which would be projected by showcasing achievements assessed against indicators, best practices and lesson learnt.
The consultant will be responsible for:
- Thoroughly reviewing all documents provided by Inspire Pakistan
- Discussing proposed methodology including data collection tools and techniques for producing desired content of the annual report
- Finalizing reviewed methodology in consultation of with Programme Unit (PU)
- Gathering data from the proposed respondents as per methodology; if needed
- Analyzing qualitative and quantitative data and sharing preliminary findings with PU
- Submitting a Table of Contents for approval
- Submitting draft of report within the mentioned timeline for review.
- Submitting final report within 7 working days after incorporating feedback/review on draft report by Inspire Pakistan
Inspire Pakistan will be responsible for:
- Giving orientation of the project and discussing in detail the desired deliverables.
- Providing organization profile and all relevant project documents, periodic reports, event reports, videos and pictures of major project events.
- Facilitating in data collection from project staff at Hhead Ooffice, direct and indirect project beneficiaries both locally and at country level.
- Reviewing draft report within 5 working days and sharing feedback.
DELIVERABLES:
The following are the deliverables of this assignment:
- Submission of table of contents for approval
- Submission of draft annual report for review
- Submission of final annual report incorporating all changes made in the review in hard and soft copy forms (a print out for hard copy and a CD or via USB for soft copy)
PREREQUISITES OF THE CONSULTANT:
The consultant applying for this assignment must have:
- At least 8 years’ experience in developing project assessment reports and documentation of best practices and achievements,
- Excellent analytical skills and expertise in interpretation of systematic qualitative and quantitative findings,
- Understanding and sensitivity for socio-cultural and political dynamics of social issues,
- Background and understanding of human rights, education, women rights, refugee protection, and developmental issues in the context of Pakistan,
- Creative and excellent English in writing skills, and
- Commitment to produce quality deliverables within the given timeframe with minimum supervision.
- Sign Inspire Pakistan Code of Conduct and adhere to it during the timeframe of the assignment.
LEGAL RESPONSIBILITY:
- By signing the contract, the consultant, will accept that the intellectual property rights of the annual reports shall remain reserved with Inspire Pakistan and the consultant will not claim any rights thereof.
- By signing the contract, the consultant, will accept that all copyrights including the rights to publication and distribution shall remain reserved with Inspire Pakistan and the consultant will not be able to reproduce or copy contents from the annual report without seeking prior written permission of Inspire Pakistan.

Interested individuals should send EOI comprising of following documents.
- Cover letter (1 page[QMS1])
- Company or Ppersonal profile of thea consultant (max 23 pages)
- Sample copy of the most recently completed assignment of the same or similar nature. The consultant may wish to enclose such an assignment in publication form, if available (no page limit)
- Proposed methodology for producing content of the annual report clearly stating how and what kind of information will be collected from staff and project beneficiaries (Max 4 pages)
- Time frame with suggested activities and costs/fee (Max 2 pages)
DEADLINE FOR THE SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALEOI:
The proposal EOI must be can be submitted by via email or post or hand delivery not later than 1600 hrs September 25th, 2016. Please clearly write “Consultancy Services for Developing Annual Report of Inspire Pakistan” in the subject line of email/ on envelop. Only shortlisted consultants will be contacted for further discussion during 2ndweek of October.
