The Junk In Your Trunk is an online consignment boutique that specializes in the consignment of accessories. Consigning is a partnership between two parties, the Consignor and the Consignee. The Consignor (You) sends the Consignee (The Junk In Your Trunk) items to sell on his/her behalf.
We at The Junk In Your Trunk pride ourselves in facilitating sales over the Internet. We provide our customers with authentic merchandise and quality service that is described in detail in the contract below.

Our Relationship With The Consignor
The Consignor allows The Junk In Your Trunk to act as the Consignor’s exclusive agent in the display and sale of the item(s) listed in this document.
Acceptance of Merchandise
All consigned merchandise must be delivered to The Junk In Your Trunkin excellent condition and must be of the highest quality, cleaned, or polished, and in “ready to sell” condition. The Consignor must disclose to The Junk In Your Trunk in writing, prior to acceptance of the merchandise byThe Junk In Your Trunkany and all flaws, damage, and/or alterations to the merchandise, regardless of the item’s appearance. In cases where Consignor does not comply with the terms of this paragraph, The Junk In Your Trunkreserves the right to terminate this Consignment Contract at any time without notice.
Should there be any items that were not as describedor were not accepted by The Junk In Your Trunkyou will be charged a $25 fee and also be responsible for the shipping cost for your returned items.
Pricing
The Junk In Your Trunkreserves the right to determine the final selling price of all merchandise. If a Consignor requires a minimum selling price for his/her merchandise, the Consignor must explicitly advise the minimum required price to The Junk In Your Trunk in the Consignment Request Form, prior to acceptance of the merchandise.
If merchandise arrives at The Junk In Your Trunk that needs dry cleaning, polishing, mending of any sort, or appraisal, The Junk In Your Trunk has the right to refuse the merchandise, but if accepted the cost will be the obligation of the Consignor and deducted from the payment to the Consignor under this agreement.
Listing
Items are kept for 90 days from the date the items are listed on Junk In Your Trunk reserves the right to mark down merchandise in the event the item is not selling, at periodic intervals during the 90-day consignment period.
All merchandise not sold within the 90-day consignment period, and is not claimed by Consignor, will become property of The Junk In Your Trunk without notice to you, unless you notify us that you would like the item returned to you in writing by email, to the email address set forth below, no later than 5 days following the end of the consignment period. It is up to the Consignor to monitor the listing and notify The Junk In Your Trunkat the end of the consignment period if items are to be returned. If you notify us within that time period that you would like the item returned to you, you will be responsible for the shipping and handling charges.
Authenticity
Consignor represents warrants that he or she is the true and lawful owner of all merchandise consigned with The Junk In Your Trunk. All items delivered to us under the terms of this agreement shall be authentic. If it is not authentic we have the right to cancel your account and this agreement, and your items will automatically become property of The Junk In Your Trunk. Consignor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless The Junk In Your Trunk for any damages arising from any and all claims, demands, losses, causes of action, damage, lawsuits, judgments, including attorneys’ fees and costs, to the extent caused by or arising out of or relating to the breach of any representation or agreement by the Consignor hereunder or other non-performance by the Consignor.
Payment
When an item is sold, the Consignor will receive a payment in the amount of 75s% of the selling price (excluding taxes or other additional charges). Payments are made by check following the sale of merchandise and will be mailed on or about the 1st day of the next succeeding month for items sold during that month, to the address you specify below. There is a $1 deduction for each check under $100 that is mailed. If you wish to defer payment until the end of the 90 days, please let us know on the Consignment Contract.
Liability
The Junk In Your Trunkis not responsible for any loss or damage to items including, but not limited to damage caused by, theft, fire, flood, any types of stains/tears, loss and any other damages or losses.
Complete Agreement; Successors
This agreement binds each party and our respective heirs, personal representatives, successors and assigns. This agreement may not be modified except by a written agreement executed by The Junk In Your Trunk and Consignor.
