1.  Acceptable merchandise for The Museum Store must relate to the history and culture of northeastern Nevada or to subjects and items on display at Northeastern Nevada Museum.

2.  Seasonal/holiday items that do not sell within three months must be picked up by the artist/agent, or exchanged for new work. Items not picked up or exchanged will be returned to the artist/agent at their expense (COD).

3.  Regular (non-seasonal) items that do not sell within six months must be picked up by the artist/agent, or exchanged for new work. Items not picked up or exchanged will be returned to the artist/agent at their expense (COD).

4.  The Museum Administrator and /or the Consignment Vendor Coordinator reserve the right to select or refuse any item(s). Likewise, items may also be removed from sales area by same. Items removed from stock must be picked up within two weeks of notification, or other special arrangements must be made within that time frame. If no arrangements are made, the merchandise will be returned to the artist/agent at their expense(COD).

5.  The Museum Store will take a 25% commission on each sale if the artist /craftsman is a member of the Museum or 30% commission on each sale if the artist / craftsman is not a member. Any artist or collector exhibiting at the Northeastern Nevada Museum must be a member of the Northeastern Nevada Historical Society or pay a $30 hanging fee.

6.  To comply with the laws and regulations of the State of Nevada Tax Commission, The Museum Store will charge 6.85% sales tax on all consignment items sold. The artist/agent is not responsible for any sales taxes for items sold through The Museum Store.

7.  The artist / agent will be paid by the 15th of the month following the end of the month in which the sale(s) occurred.

8.  Selling prices are determined by the artist/agent and must include The Museum Store’s 25% or 30% commission.

9.  The Museum Store does not provide insurance coverage for consignment items. Therefore, the artist/agent releases Northeastern Nevada Historical Society, Northeastern Nevada Museum and its staff, The Museum Store and its staff, and the Museum Guild and its members from any responsibility for breakage, theft, or any instance that results in damage or loss of any item or items consigned on this contract and inventory.
