1  Detail

Instruction / Responsibility
DES will provide an item of equipment that is clean, safety checked and installed appropriately. Items are recycled, inspected and loaned to clients. / DES Cleaning
Cleaning Process: Hand Clean
Safety/Protective Equipment Required : Rubber gloves, Apron, ear protection, eye protection
Description of tasks to be undertaken:
·  Place on hydraulic lifter, raise to a safe working height
·  Air hose hoist to remove excess grime/dirt. All over
·  Remove excess hair/lint from all wheels
·  Use universal cleaning method (hot soapy water and cloth) to clean legs of hoist
·  Use scourer to remove stubborn marks
·  Air hose to dry or use cloth
·  Use small brush and soapy water to clean rubber parts of hoist. Use “sprite” if required. Then air hose
·  Wash all other parts of hoist thoroughly
·  Wipe over electronic parts carefully with damp cloth, including charger
