Korea, population of about 51 million, welcomes visitors with warm hospitality. Seoul – pronounced “Sole” is a modern, hi-tech bustling metropolis, astutely clean, situated on the banks of Hangang, commonly referred to as the Han River. A breathtaking sight will be blooming azaleas in colors of pink, fuchsia, mauve and white. Koreans even make wine out of azalea – dugyeongju azalea wine! Explore exciting Seoul, which offers so much – history, culture, cuisine and shopping!

Incheon International Airport is situated 48 km out of Seoul. It’s the world’s eighth largest airport where the signs are wonderfully clear and welcoming – in English as well. Connection to the city is very functional and easy: just take the Korean Airlines Limousine Bus to the hotel.

The whole country has been wired with high-speed broadband, which is claimed to be 200 times faster than the US average net-speed. Free Wi-Fi is available at the airport, tube and hotels. Kintex convention centre will provide free Wi-Fi simultaneously to 35000 delegates during the 2016 Convention.

Kintex (Korea International Exhibition Center) is Korea’s largest exhibition and convention centre of over 100000 square meters. It was opened in 2005 and it’s the fourth largest exhibition facility in Asia. Situated in Goyang City north of Seoul city (only 40 minutes drive) Kintex is all set to host the 2016 Rotary Convention.

In the words of one member: “I became a true Rotarian after attending my first convention. It was a magical moment during which the word international took on its full meaning.” You’re destined to come away with the same feelings!

See you in Seoul – great experiences are waiting!
