  • Vita of PI listed in the concept proposal narrative (2-page maximum)

Narrative Instructions

  • Do not exceed 2 pages (maximum) and follow the established format. Narratives exceeding 2 pages and not adhering to the format will not be reviewed.
  • Typed in 11-point Arial or Calibri font, single-spaced with 1-inch margins.
  • Charts, tables, and graphics may be used, but will be included as part of the 2-page limit.

5. Statement of the Challenge/Opportunity. Explain the nature, scope and significance of the challenge or opportunity, including data to support this conclusion and need for the proposed program.

6. Proposed Program/Initiative.Describe the intended approach and target audience. Explain how the program will address the challenge/opportunity in ways that benefit program participants and have a positive impact on the community. Indicate why the audience is ready for or interested in the program and why the timing is right for the proposed concept.

7. Outcomes and Impacts. Based on implementation of the proposed concept, clearly describe success including scholarly outcomes and community impacts.

8. Team Members and Qualifications. Document team capacity to plan or implement intended program. Identify members of the core team, including existing or desired OSU and external partners. Briefly discuss each member’s role, capabilities and qualifications. Includeexperience relevant to the proposed project.

9. Funding Request and Narrative. Based on the funding track requested, provide a general narrative estimate that includes cost share and additional sources of funding. Document how funding will be applied to achieve proposed program outcomes.
