Closing Questions

The following questions have been crafted especially for those who were unable to attend one of the Listening Groups. These questions also provide an opportunity for those of you who were able to attend one of the Listening Groups to provide feedback that you may not have had a chance to provide during the Listening Group meeting. Let us know what's on your mind!

1. What should we do as a congregation in the near future to further our mission? How will we expect a new pastor to help us fulfill our mission?

2. Are there any trends in the community (rising housing costs, the poor economy, the imminent spread of Harvard into Allston/Brighton, etc.) that UniLu and thus a new pastor will have to deal with? How do you foresee such changes affecting our church community?

3. What other expectations will you have for a new pastor?

4. Which current programs at UniLu are you the most thankful for, and which do you feel need to be strengthened? Which of these programs will require a pastor's time, and which can be run by lay members of the congregation?

5. Is there anything else you would like to let the Profile committee and any possible candidates know about UniLu or the surrounding community?
