Confiscated Items 2007- Principals are allowed to SMILE 

(special thanks to Becky McCabe)

6 Chinese throwing stars, 27 cell phones that parents have yet to claim, 3 hats, 5 pairs of sunglasses, and necklaces.

A cigarette lighter, pack of matches, box of matches, laser pointer, superball, Pokemon cards, matchbox car and a nail clipper. Nothing too exciting this year, thank Goodness!
Ok...just added to my list of confiscated items...
1) a "blunt" yep...the REAL thing....
2) lighter
3) chewing tobacco
4) harmonica
5) cell phone

One 6 oz. bottle of Anti Monkey Butt Powder with Calamine Powder. "Sweat Absorber AND Friction Fighter."

13 lighters
6 packs of cigarettes
7 loose cigarettes
2 laser pointers
numerous cell phones (will be returned on the last
day)
3 mp3 players (will be returned on the last day)
fireworks (in police custody)
sack of porn - printed in the computer lab (mom
returned them to us, in various pieces)
2 empty beer cans (in police custody)

4 packs of cigarettes (2 Marlboro's)
6 Pocket Knives (1 belonging to a Pre-K student)
1 One Hitter
1 Pellet Gun
Countless cell phones and hats.
And the best one was a bow with 6 arrows. One of our finer students
tried to board a bus carrying it in hopes that someone at school might
buy it from him.

All the usual stuff, plus my personal favorite:
A t-shirt that reads "My parents told me I could become anything I
wanted, so I became an Asshole."
The kid wore it right into the office, first thing in the morning.
Turned out to be a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I have collected several "click it or ticket" clicking noise makers given
away by the state police at the Du Quoin State Fair--very annoying in a
classroom (or anywhere else). These were give-a-ways a couple of years ago
and are still making their way to school.

1 pair of men's/boys bvds recovered from the flagpole.

Condoms, a gray thong (underwear, not shoe), various shockers, cell
phone, game boy with games

The usual items, PLUS a stuffed dog, which can be attached to something
(like a leg). Pressing its ear releases pent-up emotion. You can
imagine what the dog does from there on. Quite entertaining!! :)

1 trial sized bottle of "personal lubricant" (a 2nd girl brought to show
everyone...her hand sanitizer)...mom has yet to pick up this item
1 nail file
1 super ball
1 deck of cards
1 door alarm
1 matchbox car

I am in a junior high and I have collected although I have not kept all
of the following: Several lighters, cigarettes, condoms, slimy lime hair
color, a long chain, a hat, cell phones, 2 laser lights, cologne, body
spray, several tech decks, and a scan disc.

1. can of "Duff" beer with playing cards inside
2. a pellet gun, with a supply of 200 pellets
3. V-stings (hand-made paper V's that sting when shot by a rubber band
4. Wrigley Gum zappers that shock one when they attempt to remove a
piece of gum
5. Oregano that was being sold for $5
6. a multitude of shocker pens and laser pens
7. a hat with a sharp metal stud on the top
8. a shoe with a sharp metal stud that screwed into the toe-end of the
shoe (owner same as item #7)
9. a six penny nail that was being used as an earring (sister of owner
of items 7 & 8)

I have 4 pocket knives, 2 bullets, one jingle bell, a whistle, one cigarette
lighter, two laser pointers, and a cork screw wine bottle opener. Oh yes,
and I only have second and third graders!

A couple of lighters, laser pointers, toe-nail scissors and a really cool remote controlled fart machine.

2 super balls
1 hackey sack ball
1 machine gun shaped lighter
chewing tobacco
3 bic pens used to shoot paper wads

One partial pack of Echo cigarettes, one 7 inch lock blade skinning knife
found on the playground by a 3rd grader - (standard equipment in Dongola
along with camo clothing), one baseball tossed around by seniors in the
hall, officer took the bag of weed taken from a 7th grader arrested and
expelled last week, 5 million pokemon cards, one resignation letter...just
in case... ;-)

-A "Murder List"
-A picture of a naked woman (from the infamous site DDwomen something....)
- Various cards that we don't allow
- 1 glue stick with the inner contents shaped like a popular male organ
- A red ribbon for Red Ribbon Week that now says "I DO Drugs"

Besides the usual, a glow in the dark vibrator (mom never did come to
pick up that item, and one of our 5th graders brought her live kitten
to school in her back pack. She wanted to show her teacher. (although I
had to give it back to mom later that morning)

- handcuffs
- a naked lady lighter
- a student found a marijuana pipe on our playground
- a hand held shocker

Hmm..... I have 2 screwdrivers, bracelet, hot wheel car, mace, nurse's
nail kit and Yu-gi-oh cards. Almost all the things you would expect
from a K-3 building.

Vicoden, Tic tacs (which were concealing the vicoden), travel size
bottles of rum and whiskey, empty shotgun shells, Pokemon cards. Have a
great summer.

Along with all the usual items confiscated in a high school (cigarettes, adult magazines, etc...), this year my Deans turned over to me a rubber replica of female genitalia that was found in the search of a locker. This was also an interesting phone call to make.
Have a great summer!

-A laser light
-Lighter
-Nail glue that is in a tube that looks like lipstick (a 3rd grade girl let
a 3rd grade boy put some on his lips...his lips were "burned" and were quite
sticky...very difficult call to make to those parents!)
-Cigarettes
-Bullet (thankfully, without the gun)
-Firecrackers (I'm considering lighting off at 3:05 today!:)
