Dear Friends of Florida DCDT
It is with great pleasure that the Florida Division on Career Development and Transition (FLDCDT) announces a partnership with the Florida Department of Education/Bureau of Exceptional Education and Student Services (FLDOE/BEES) and Project 10: Transition Education Network for this year’s VISIONS XXIV Conference/Institute which is being held at the Sirata Beach Resort and Conference Center, St. Pete Beach from May 3, 2017 to May 5, 2017. This partnership will enable participants at the Conference/Institute to gather information on evidenced-based practices for providing transition services to students with disabilities and to plan together to implement new and innovative practices back home.
We would like to invite your organization to be a Sponsor/Vendor/Exhibitor at this year’s VISIONS XXIV Conference/Institute. We anticipate a larger, more diversified group of transition stakeholders in attendance. Please join us! Reservations for lodging at the hotel can be made by calling 1-800-344-5999. A block of rooms, at the conference rate of $134.00 plus tax, has been reserved for participants. Please be sure to indicate that you are part of the VISIONS XXIV Conference/Institute when making reservations.
We are asking that Vendors/Exhibitors be available Wednesday, May 3rd from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm; Thursday, May 4thth from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm; and Friday, May 5th from 8:00 am until 11:00 am. Set-up will be on Wednesday, beginning at 10:00 am.
