How Do I Remove & Install A
Computers Motherboard???????
-Design a graphic organizer (using the PowerPoint Template with SmartArt found on Mr. Smith’s webpage called Motherboard Removal and Install Template) with text and pictures that describe the process of removing aMotherboard and then reinstalling a new Motherboard. As a computer technician you should select how you wish to display this information so that another individual could pick up your instructions and understand the motherboard removal and installation process. Pictures and graphics along with correct terminology will be useful for the viewer of this organizer.
**A Note about SmartArt & the PowerPoint Template Motherboard Removal and Install PowerPoint**
-Make sure to save this template to your student folder and not back to my website otherwise your work will be gone tomorrow.
-If you double click on the box behind the darker blue box you can insert a picture
-Single click on the dark blue boxes and you can type your text, such as a step, a tool needed, etc. You can resize the pictures and the dark blue text boxes by single clicking and using the sizing handles.
-If you only wish to have less than the supplied 6 steps on a slide(which will more than likely be the case otherwise you will have real small font and pictures you can single click on the dark blue textbox you wish to delete and then click the delete key on the keyboard.
-I have included 10 slides within the template if you do not need ten slides then right click on the slide on the left hand side of the screen and select delete slide. If you need more slides follow the same steps but instead of selecting delete slide select Duplicate Slide.
Students should discuss & showcase the following concepts within the design:
- Create the Title Slide so that it is attractive, informational(what the PowerPoint is going to be about) and showcases the designer of the helpful organizer over the removal and installation of a computers motherboard.
- Safety (How to handle the motherboard & what safety equipment should be used)
- Tools Needed (What tools will someone need to have on hand to assist in the Motherboard removal &installation process.)
- Motherboard Removal & Installation Steps (Refer to Mr. Smith’s website for web resources or use sites such as The number of steps will differ from student to student based on how specific they are within their description.
The graphic organizer should provide a way for a person to understand the motherboard removal and installation process along with the safety procedures and the tools needed to successfully complete the motherboard removal and installation task.
