Many thanks for looking after me on Election Night and congratulations on such a well organised Count. In record time as well! Maybe we will be having another one in my year. I hope not!

Please accept Stratford Green Party's thanks for all the help you and your team gave us during the election period - and please make sure your team know how much we appreciate them. And, I have to say, if there had been a competition for the earliest declaration by a rural constituency I'm sure Stratford would have won it - phenomenal efficiency, and all so cheerfully practised!

Our only consolation if there's another election before May 2019 is that we'll have such good support from our District elections office.

….Can I also say a big thank you and congratulations to you and your team. Being thrown the challenge of a snap election must have put just as much strain on your team as it did on ours.

This was my third General Election as a professional agent and the first one where I did not encounter a whole series of complaints from the voters of postal votes not reaching etc. so you must have been doing something right. The count was extremely well run and to finish as early as it did was very welcome (not that I slept afterwards).

So a big thank you from myself and the local Conservatives for a very well run election, under the most difficult circumstances imaginable and for putting up with all our questions and issues.
