Industrial Ethernet is an all-in-one solution for all areas in a company - from the management level to the control level and into the field level. This requires comprehensive and versatile connection accessories: like simple RJ45 connectors for IP20 office applications all the way up to rugged connectors with IP65/68 protection for extreme industrial environments.
Murrelektronik has a wide product range and can offer connection accessories for all these areas. Field-wireable M12 and RJ45 connectors are the right choice for IP20 applications. There is a large variety of pre-wired and molded models. The 15° locking mechanism of the M8 and M12 connectors and top quality PUR moldings ensure safe connections with IP65/68 protection, even in aggressive industrial environments.
Murrelektronik has the right cable for every application: from PVC jackets for fixed cable installations to highly flexible PUR cables with a wire cross section of 0.34mm² for torsion and bending, for example in C-track applications. All models have cables with a visual shielding of over 85%. Murrelektronik's 360° shielding concept for connectors provides resistance to external interferences. Error-free data transfer is an important product feature.
The connectors are available in straight or angled versions, with open-ended wires or as connection cables, combined with M8, M12 or with molded RJ45 connectors. RJ45s are suitable for multiport connections and available with all five cable angles (straight, top, bottom, left and right). All pre-wired Murrelektronik connectors are 100% tested. Eliminate wiring errors during installation that can happen easily with field-wireable connectors.
Murrelektronik also offers an Industrial Ethernet as a standard for specific user protocols. All types of shielded M8 connectors are available for EtherCAT as well as for SERCOS III, a special Cat.5e cable for C-track applications. The push-pull power and push-pull data connectors (copper and optical fiber) for PROFINET are available as field-wireable and pre-wired models.
Suitable interfaces like flange connectors with or without bus cable, cable entry systems are also available, as well as cables by the meter from 100m to 500m - all, of course, UL approved.
The product range is available for transfer characteristics according to CAT5 ISO/IEC 11801 Class D or CAT6 ISO/IEC 11801 Class EA.
