An example of R&D Projects
Led by ROQUETTE Frères, the ALGOHUB™ project has taken on the challenge of creating an industry segment for microalgae exploitation. ALGOHUB™ is a huge R&D programme with the help of 13 partners, with the aim of establishing large-scale microalagae production facilities that will fulfil the market’s requirements.ALGOHUB™ was labelled as an NHL Cluster project in 2007 and of its overall budget of EUR 28M, a total of EUR10M will come from a grant under the new OSEO ‘Strategic Industrial Innovation’ programme (Innovation Stratégique Industrielle – ISI).
