Primary Responsibilities
Perform EMC testing following test standards and company/laboratory SOPs to ensure delivery of testing services that meet client’s requirements in accordance with SGS quality system.

Specific responsibilities
- Conduct testing in accordance with established procedures, maintaining a high standard of service delivery that ensures effective customer relationships
- Routine operation, maintenance, and validation of laboratory equipment and instruments, including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, receivers and multimeters.
- Under supervision, develop, review, submit and file datasheets on client sample tests.
- Assist in the investigation of, response to, and follow-up of client inquiries and complaints.
- May assist in limited internal and external support to marketing, sales, customer services, and clients regarding test, report and other technical information.
- Coordinate with other laboratory technicians and/or assistants on sample receiving, logging, pretreatment, preparation, testing and other tasks.
- Maintain the laboratory and personal areas to facilitate efficient operations.
- Work in the field at client facilities as required.
- Interface directly with internal and external clients.
- Coordinate, manage, and conduct multiple projects within tight deadlines.
- Other projects and tasks assigned by company and supervisors.
Profile
- AA degree (technical) with at least two years of test lab experience, or at least 4 years of technical experience.
- Conduct EMC tests of electronic devices. Maintain lab equipment. Operate automated test platforms.
- Experience with FCC Part 15, CISPR 11, CISPR 14, CISPR 22, CISPR 24, IEC 60601-1-2, IEC 61000-6-1, IEC 61000-6-2, IEC 61000-6-3, or IEC 61000-6-4
