Dear Mr. Johnson,

I am a sophomore at Bowling Green State University interested in interviewing for a position as a Human Resource Coordinator. I have learned much about your company’s success on the global stage and I feel that this is a perfect place to pursue my career as a human resource coordinator.

Throughout my academic career in the Interpersonal Communications Department at Bowling Green State University, I have been studying communication classes for IPC Spanish, and English. These classes have helped me gain confidence in social and professional atmospheres because they have taught me to not only communicate my own ideas at a greater skill, but also be able to adhere to the needs of people I work with. Besides my core classes, I have studied other broader social sciences classes which have enlightened me and broaden my knowledge of how the world works.

The previous summer I furthered my experience with communication as an assistant manager for Georgio’s Oven Fresh Pizza and the year before that I was the coordinator for the Film Projector Journal. Working as an assistant manager has taught me how to work along with employers under me and be more responsible because I had to use problem-solving skills on a daily basis. Although at times I faced frustrating situations, I learned patience and better corporation skills. While working on the Film Projector Journal, my communication skills were put to the test because I constantly had to contact the writers and make sure that our articles were making progress. I feel I can take these skills and lessons that I have learned from my previous positions and apply them to any needs your company has.

I firmly believe that I will be a beneficial employee for Confidential Company. I will be contacting you within the upcoming week or you may reach me at 440-429-5860 or at my email, .

Sincerely,

Stephen Hamlin
