COMPANY BACKGROUND
In the early 1980’s, two companies began a similar journey. Each established a community association management company with the firm belief that they had the best product being offered in the marketplace. For many years, both companies worked diligently to improve their services and, in doing so, each steadily increased the size of their portfolio and their reputation in the community association management field. These two companies were Roger Kramer & Associates, Ltd., and Triad Management Corporation.
Roger Kramer & Associates, Ltd., was established by Roger Kramer with two housing cooperative contracts. The company based its operations in the Northeastern Detroit suburbs and steadily added clients at the rate of ten to twelve annually. Its market share was concentrated in Macomb and Oakland counties with an office also being established in Naples, Florida, in 1990. Its client base rose to over 160 contracts and close to 20,000 units.
Triad Management Corporation was formed by Ronald Duprey and William Cretney with the management of one client. Their focus was Washtenaw County, primarily the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area, along with clients in Oakland, Livingston, and Wayne counties. Along with premium management services, they also provided their clients with an excellent, well-trained maintenance department. Triad steadily increased their client base to over 100 communities and in excess of 10,000 units.
The solid reputations these companies garnered were primarily due to hard work on the part of the principals and their respective staffs, as well as a philosophy which encompassed providing the best service at the best price. Each company insured that clients received personalized service. Their clients were provided with knowledgeable employees whose primary concern was the overall financial and physical well being of the communities they managed.
In their continuing efforts to provide the best community association management program to their clients, the principals of these two companies decided that combining their experience, knowledge and services was in the best interests of all concerned. The result of this collaboration is the emergence of KRAMER-TRIAD MANAGEMENT GROUP, L.L.C., as the largest professional community association management firm in Michigan, as well as in the Midwest.
