COMP Cams® Provides Real Time Tech Assistance
At Special Fall Dirt Racing Events
COMP Cams® continues to take customer service to the next level by providing direct racer support at the track for some of the biggest events of the 2010 fall season
Most companies that manufacture components for use in the motorsports’ world boast to have customer service that is second to none. However, the reality is that many of these companies only provide technical support via the telephone during business hours on work days. But COMP Cams® has always prided itself on taking an aggressive, more hands-on approach to customer service. This fall, not only will customers of the COMP Cams® family of products have access to support via the phone and internet, but they will also have an unprecedented level of direct support from factory representatives onsite at the track. The company will be sending its sharpest tech minds into the field to provide real-time product support. Representatives from companies such as COMP Cams®, RHS®, TCI®, Quarter Master® and more will be on hand at special late-season events throughout the country to assist in giving their customers a performance edge.
The COMP Cams® family of companies will begin its field invasion with the 18th Annual COMP Cams® Topless 100 on August 19th-21st, 2010, at Batesville Motor Speedway in Locust Grove, Arkansas. Not only does COMP Cams® have a long history of being the title sponsor of the event, but they also have a long history of providing products that have powered its champions to victory lane. 2009 Event champion, Jimmy Owens, utilized several COMP Cams® products in his winning entry.
The IMCA Super Nationals, which will be held September 6th-11th at Boone Speedway in Boone, Iowa, shows up next on the radar. The event serves as a culmination of all of the divisions that IMCA sanctions. In 2009, an unbelievable amount of 816 cars representing 18 states entered the event. This event represents the best of the best in divisions ranging from Stock Cars to Open Wheel Modifieds to Sprint Cars. A majority of these hundreds of competitors utilize COMP Cams® products, and as a result, the company wants to show strong support for its devoted clients.
Immediately following is the mega-event Wissota 100 that will be held on September 15th-18th at the Dakota State Fair Speedway in Huron, South Dakota, and will feature six divisions battling for their share of a massive purse. The 3/8-mile oval serves as a true proving ground for the best performing drivers and machines. Representatives from COMP Cams® and other COMP Performance Group™ companies will once again be present to ensure their loyal users have the winning edge.
On the same weekend as the Wissota 100 will be the resurrected COMP Cams® Memphis Nationals on September 18th at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas. The event, which was a mainstay at the now defunct Memphis Motorsports Park, has been rejuvenated for the 2010 season after several years of hiatus. It will have a new home for its rebirth in 2010 and will be
highlighted by a $1,500 to win Street Stock event, as well as the finale for the COMP Cams® MSRA Super Late Model tour. The 1/4-mile, gumbo oval is known to be one of the trickiest in the nation to navigate, and as a result, a full team of customer support technicians will be on hand to help racers dial in their race cars.
The racing season will wrap up with the annual Short Track Nationals at I-30 Speedway in Little Rock, Arkansas, which is not only the richest 360c.i. Winged Sprint Car event of the season but also the most illustrious. Approximately one hundred Sprint Cars converge on the 1/4-mile facility each year. It represents possibly the most eclectic gathering of racers, as drivers from all realms of Sprint Car racing come together for the weekend to chase glory and a $15,000 prize. COMP Cams® recognizes the value of events such as this one, and recently announced their title sponsorship of the event, which will be held October 27th-30th, 2010. This major race event will also see a gathering of experienced, technical support representatives from many of the COMP Cams® brands.
COMP Cams® sends tech support representatives to hundreds of events each year, and the races listed above are just a small representation of how the company constantly seeks customer satisfaction. In short, COMP Cams® recognizes that its products are only as good as the results that its customers reap.
